Before you come
What to bring and wear
Your cards
Your health fund card to claim on the spot, plus your Medicare card, DVA card or WorkSafe / TAC claim number if they apply.
Scans and letters
Any X-ray, MRI or ultrasound reports, a GP referral or care plan, and notes from your surgeon if you have had an operation.
Clothes you can move in
Shorts for hips, knees and ankles, a singlet or sports top for shoulders and necks. Running? Bring the shoes you run in.
Arrive five minutes early
We send a short online form with your confirmation. Fill it in before you come and your full appointment is spent on you.
On the day
Your appointment, step by step
1
Welcome
Check in at the front desk on Level 1. Lift and stairs are just inside the entrance.
2
Assessment
Your practitioner asks about your problem and tests how you move. Tell us if anything is uncomfortable.
3
Treatment
Hands-on treatment and your first exercises, with everything explained as we go.
4
Pay & claim
Swipe your health fund card, pay the gap and book your next visit if you need one.
First-visit questions
You asked
Can I bring someone with me?
Of course. A partner, friend or parent is welcome in the room. Patients under 18 need a parent or guardian at their first visit.
Will it hurt?
Some tests reproduce your pain briefly so we can find the cause, but we stay within what you are comfortable with and stop whenever you ask.
Can I get a chaperone?
Yes. Ask when you book or at the front desk, and a team member will join your appointment.
Is there parking?
Two-hour street parking on Haverford Street and nearby side streets, and a bike rack at the entrance. Richmond station is a six-minute walk.
Paying for your visit
Claim on the spot. Pay only the gap.
Swipe your health fund card on our HICAPS terminal after your appointment. We also see patients under Medicare care plans, WorkSafe, TAC and DVA, and bill the schemes directly.
