FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything patients ask us about referrals, rebates, schemes, what to wear and how many visits they will need.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book a physio, chiro or massage appointment directly. You only need a GP referral to claim through Medicare (a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan) or DVA.

Can I claim on my private health insurance?

Yes, if your extras cover includes physiotherapy, chiropractic or remedial massage. Swipe your card on our HICAPS terminal after your appointment and pay only the gap.

Do you see WorkSafe, TAC and DVA patients?

Yes. Tell us when you book and bring your claim number or card. For accepted claims, we bill the scheme directly and there is nothing to pay.

Which appointment should I book?

If you are new to us, or it’s a new problem, book an initial consultation. Coming back for the same problem? Book a standard consultation. Not sure? Call us and we will book the right one.

How many visits will I need?

Most people need three to six visits, spaced further apart as they improve. We give you an honest estimate at your first visit and never sell pre-paid packages.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can move in: shorts for hips, knees and ankles, and a singlet or sports top for shoulders and necks.

How soon can I be seen?

Most new patients are seen within two days. We keep a few appointments free each day for new injuries, so call if you can’t see a time online.

Do you treat children?

Our physios treat children and teenagers, especially sports injuries. Patients under 16 must come with a parent or guardian.

How do I cancel or reschedule?

Use the link in your confirmation email or call us at least 24 hours before. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged a fee; see our cancellation policy.
